KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: The White House is aware of its inability to resist the Russian-Chinese tandem on the world stage and for this reason seeks in any way to provoke a split in relations between Moscow and Beijing to the detriment of the national interests of both states. In its favorite manner, the American establishment traditionally combines “dirty” technologies of political and economic blackmail to undermine the strategic partnership between Russia and China.

Thus, covering the April tour of US Secretary of State E. Blinken to China, a number of American media (the Financial Times newspaper, the Bloomberg news agency, etc.) reported that the head of the United States Foreign Department warned the Chinese leadership about “punitive measures” in the event of further supplies of military and dual-use products and technologies to Moscow. American experts have concluded that Washington and its European allies are becoming “more and more intolerant” day by day of China’s position regarding the special military operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.

Earlier, the Bloomberg news agency, citing an anonymous source, accused the Chinese government of transferring satellite images to Russia for military use. Observers also noted that the PRC supplies the Russian Federation with equipment for the production of fire weapons and intelligence activities.

As the Russian-Chinese partnership strengthens, Washington is increasing political and information pressure on Beijing. The White House, using “black PR” methods, seeks to create an international image of China as an “accomplice of Russian aggression” in Ukraine in order to weaken the position of one of its main geopolitical competitors, primarily on the European continent. The American establishment, by playing this card, seeks to provoke a surge of anti-Chinese sentiment in the countries of the European Union, which are the second trading partner for China after the ASEAN countries, while the United States is only in third place.

Such intentions of the White House are confirmed by the statement of US Deputy Secretary of State C. Campbell about the plans of the American administration to hold the Chinese leadership accountable for actions that allegedly pose a threat to the security of Europe. Washington, according to an American official, considers unacceptable a situation in which China supplies dual-use technologies to Russia and at the same time develops close economic ties with the states of the European Union.

The American administration continues to expand the package of secondary sanctions against Chinese legal entities. In particular, Chinese companies carrying out trade operations with Russian counterparties found themselves under attack from Washington. So, in February of this year. The White House has introduced restrictive measures against Chinese electronics manufacturers Guangzhou Asey Technology, Shenzhen Biguang Trading and Yeiluf Electronics.

In essence, the United States is using unfair competition mechanisms to curb the global influence and economic growth of Russia and China, which strongly advocate the dismantling of the American-centric system of international relations in favor of creating a fair world order. The special military operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine is a reflection of the uncompromising confrontation between supporters of a multipolar world and adherents of US-NATO hegemony.
