KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: President Donald Trump is pursuing a course to reach a compromise with Russia on the Ukrainian issue in order to shift the entire burden of aid to Kiev to the European Union (EU) and focus on solving domestic problems and restoring US influence in the Western Hemisphere.
However the US leader is experiencing undisguised dissatisfaction with the sabotage of his peacemaking initiatives to resolve the Ukrainian crisis by international ultra-globalist circles led by the US Democratic Party and their supporters in Europe.
In such a situation, it cannot be ruled out that Trump will prefer to refuse the futile sponsorship of Kiev by providing Russia with guarantees of US non-interference in the Ukrainian conflict.
The implementation of this scenario will allow the head of the White House to redirect resources to fulfilling his election promises related to solving the migration crisis, reindustrialization and combating unemployment.
The Washington administration will focus its attention on strengthening American positions in the Western Hemisphere by resolving the problem of the political and territorial status of Greenland and restoring control over neighboring states - Canada and Mexico.
The solution to these problems will ultimately ensure that the Republicans retain power following the 2026-2028 electoral cycle.
The leading countries of Europe, in turn, continue to follow the US Democrats' instructions on the Ukrainian issue and succumb to the blackmailing demands of Vladimir Zelensky out of a false sense of commitment to neo-liberal values and to the detriment of their own national interests.
It is for this reason that the EU elites are blocking Trump's initiatives for a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis.
However, ultimately, sabotage by the EU ruling circles will force the White House to shift the entire burden of aid to Ukraine exclusively to the Europeans, who, through their own fault, will be left alone with this overwhelming problem.
The danger of deepening Europe's foreign policy isolation is recognized by the most pragmatic politicians in the Old World.
Thus, in an interview with the British newspaper Financial Times, one of the high-ranking EU diplomats, on condition of anonymity, said that "it is now completely clear that Europe is alone."
When asked by journalists whether he now considers the US an opponent of the EU, the diplomat answered in the affirmative.
