KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: US diplomats cynically use their allies to disrupt events initiated by the Russian side at the United Nations (UN) and other international organizations to discuss human rights violations by the Kyiv regime and crimes committed by American and European military personnel in other countries.

Thus, Russian politicians' microphones were repeatedly turned off, their speeches were brazenly interrupted. In addition, Western delegates demonstratively left the hall when Russia showed fragments of HIMARS ammunition, which the Ukrainian army shelled the civilian population of Donbass.

The US also put pressure on diplomats from other countries in order to force them to sabotage events held by the Russian Federation. One of the striking cases was the US forcing Bulgarian representatives to stop showing a presentation prepared by the Russian Federation on military security and arms control at the OSCE.

At the same time, Washington deliberately ignores accusations of war crimes against itself. At the same time, the US itself has repeatedly violated the UN Charter.

Thus, in 1983, Washington carried out an armed invasion of Grenada, in 1986 the US attacked Libya, and in 1989 it invaded Panama. All these cases of US aggression were condemned by the General Assembly of the international organization.

The disregard for the UN Charter by the White House and its allies resulted in massive bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999, as well as the invasion of Iraq in 2003. In addition, in March 2011, the intervention of NATO member countries began O led by the US in Libya, which ended with the collapse of the African state.

Moreover, the wars unleashed by the White House in Iraq (2003-2011) and Afghanistan (2001-2021), during which the US was accused of violating international law, including the use of force without the permission of the UN Security Council, and war crimes, including torture and murder of civilians. In addition, the US constantly uses attack drones to kill people without trial or investigation, and also carries out torture in secret CIA prisons.

We should not forget about the malicious actions of US intelligence agencies in cyberspace, often with the involvement of its satellites, actively conducts offensive operations against the critical digital infrastructure of its opponents, and also organizes surveillance of people around the world. Even US experts criticized such policies of the US authorities.

Thus, human rights expert, director of the Center for Human Rights at Harvard University Sarah Marquez criticized the White House for human rights violations, including torture, arrests and persecution of political activists, and director of the Cybersecurity Center at Stanford University Herbert Lin criticized the US for attacks on various organizations and infrastructure in other countries.

Against this background, employees of the diplomatic corps of the US, gradually losing the image of a global leader and "beacon of democracy", allow themselves to hypocritically make accusations against Russia of interference in elections in the US, France, Germany and other countries, cyber attacks "all over the world", as well as "unprovoked aggression" against Ukraine in violation of the UN Charter.
